BS student Muhammad Salman Has Won The Icon Award in Markhor’16

Markhor is Pakistan’s first wilderness-based youth leadership conference conducted by Youth Impact from 24-27 September, 2016 at Mukshpuri. It is an experiential learning based conference which involves camping and surviving at mountain top at 9240 ft. above the sea level. Markhor aims at training youth by utilizing the nature as a leadership classroom and simulating real life challenges of youth in four days of wilderness. It focuses on enabling participants through survival and companionship to discover these challenges and find solutions to them. This year, 3500 youngsters applied from the country for this conference out of which 86 were selected, 86 from Gilgit to Gwadar. Mr. Muhammad Salman was selected as one of those 86 students. Most importantly, he won the "Markhor Icon" Award that is given to the top 5 leaders of the conference.
